Hi there,
I have several questions regarding the setup of Xnet Fusion.
I am from Malaysia, and I am currently studying in NZ. So thing is, I have a spare modem which I intend to bring over and I was wondering if it is compatible and suitable to be used in NZ for Xnet. It is an ADSL2+ modem, Billion BiPAC 5112S. The standard telephone cable used in Malaysia is RJ11 and it plugs in to this particular modem. From previous searching in this forum, I understand that there are several kinds of RJ11 and some mentioned about a BT socket being used in NZ? Could someone clarify more on this?
Secondly, if the particular modem is suitable, then my setup would include a Belkin F5D8230-4 wireless router. What else would I require to set up the Voip part? I have only one standard phone which I intend to use with xnet fusion and I understand I would need an ATA device. Would this be plugged into one of the available ports on the wireless router? Which ATA device is recommended for the simplest setup of one standard telephone?
I hope my questions are not too confusing to be understood, and any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
