There probably aren't too many here who use IHug, but they sent an email out recently saying the ihug website was being turned off on April 1st:

http://www.ihug.co.nz/ourplace/

What are the chances that we would be able to have one login to manage phone options and ihug options ? I guess its much more likely we'll have seperate logins on the same site for different bits, but it would be nice.

Even nicer of course, would be the ability to switch from prepay to on account so I can set up the family option (keeping my current prepay phone number).

This will be available from the 1st April. You will also be able to port onto Vodafone Prepay as well.

When I asked at a store the guy said that the only one he had being told about was being able to port in to a prepay connection unlike at the moment how you can only port into a plan. Since I couldnt keep my prepay 021 number and move to a plan I just went data only and will carry 2 phones till I know for sure if I can make it a choose20 on my current number.

April 1st is a very appropriate day for iHug to integrate with Vodafone!  I received a letter from someone called Mark Rushworth, welcoming me to iHug=Vodafone....with a page full of FAQs all about "my iHug account".and "my iHug email."   All phrased as if I am an iHug customer!  I have never been an iHug customer.
Graphic on the page shows a short ladder reaching1/3 of the way up a tree - with the iHug/Vodafone people in the branches.  The short ladder may be an appropriate graphic - plenty offered but nothing within reach!
Anyone else had this odd letter?
