Good morning,

My vodafone vdsl seems not working randomly in last two weeks.

Sometimes visit google.co.nz will stop working for about three minutes and continue to work. If google.co.nz stop working, I cannot ping 8.8.8.8.

Does that related to usa dns dyn hacking https://www.wired.com/2016/10/internet-outage-ddos-dns-dyn/?

Is that vodafone network issue?

I cannot see anything wrong here http://www.vodafone.co.nz/help/network-status/ while my vdsl recovered.

Thanks in advance

Hey,

It would be good to know if it was your xDSL dropping out or the internal network side.

When this occurs do you have a solid WAN light on your modem?

Is the outage usually for about 45 seconds to 1 minute?

Cheers

would recommend contacting support, get them to run a 48 hour line check.
