hi

have just changed from Vodafone 200 / 20  to 950 / 450 which seems to have kicked in this morning however  the downloads have stayed the same or a bit less while the upload has improved.

im not really worried about upload but just wanted to know if it takes a while for download speed to learn and change overtime as some comments have said around the place

not a concern, just more curious at this time

Do you have a suitably powerful PC to use the speeds? Also just checking you're testing over Ethernet not wifi?

supposedly the huawei hg659 is and when i spoke to the support person a few days ago and adked the question he said yes.

i double checked to see if the hg659b would be better and saw that there was no real difference.

ive got a d-link 2900al here i can test but wont be able to do that until the kids are back at school not moaning about "no internet whah whah"....:-)
