Hi All,

Just looking at the options of aggregating up to 4 RBI connections so a client of mine can be assured of consistent and reliable connections for their business and their clients?

Any suggestions etc greatly appreciated, just researching options at the present time.

If your looking to aggregate connections for reliability, i'd be multi-sourcing.

be this a backup dsl based service or say, WBB from a spark tower

sorry little more on the scenario, no reliable adsl or dial up available, tested 4G/3G connection is stable and good speeds just need to ensure good reliable connection.

if there is no alternative option to use as a backup then your best bet is a fixed antenna setup to ensure reliability.

That has been done, using high gain aerial for testing and speeds were sufficient, thought of aggregating for consistency during high use times.

Just wondering if anyone had tried this and possible results?

Do you have dual / MIMO antenna, or just a single antenna? If you are combining multiple connections all on same tower, I don't think you'll see any real performance / reliability gain as it's shared airspace; i.e. each of you connections will be competing with each other.

Only 1 x high aerial set on 3G connection for testing, I've been advised the RBI modems only utilize one aerial when set on a 3G connection? On the 4G connection I've been installing 2 aerials.

If the source of your connection is taken out then you are buggered regardless of how any RBI antennas and connections you have setup.
You need to organize another technology for redundancy. Whether it is satellite, WirelessBB, maybe farmside or something like that.
