It seems quite common for VDSL to start out syncing at only 1 Mbps in the upstream direction for moderate/longer lines, the ddDLM process should then take it up to a profile that is suitable for line conditions. How are you determining you are connected at ADSL2+ only.

You should be able to tell by the modem stats if it's connected using ADSL2+ or VDSL2.

If it's VDSL2 but your speeds are the same as ADSL2+ it means you either need to fix your internal wiring or you're too far from the cabinet or exchange.

You need to post your DSL stats from your modem if you want any help, as without these there is nothing anybody can tell you.

Looks to me like the haven't changed you to a vdsl profile, and you seem to be as close as you can reasonably be to the port, so you will get a big speed jump once it cuts over.
Let Vodafone know and include that image if possible.

Anything I say is the ramblings of an ill informed, opinionated so-and-so, and not representative of any of my past, present or future employers, and is also probably best disregarded.

I received a letter from Vodafone mid-November advising they were switching me from ADSL to VDSL, and a few weeks later a Vodafone Ultra Hub arrived. I set it all up and it's been working fine, but I'm still on ADSL (says so in the router settings).

Is the switch-over to VDSL meant to happen automatically or how does it work?
