Hi all,

I got the Vodafone Ultra Hub setup a while ago as part of a new Fibre X connection here in Wellington.  Generally it's been going really well and better than my trusty old cable connection, so thanks VF for that.

I'm a little dismayed though that the Ultra Hub exposes a number of services to the internet, or at least my one does.  Currently I have ports 80, 443, 8080, 53 and 121 open to everyone on the internet.  Port 80 is a login screen for my Ultra Hub that I'd really prefer wasn't just sitting out there, and certainly I never find myself having to fiddle with my router from anywhere else but home.

Now - maybe I'm dumber than the average bear, but i can't for the life of me find where to turn any of this access off.  Is it possible to at least turn off the remote access functionality for this router?

I should mention this is on a static IP as well, if that makes any difference to the situation.  If you need any more info please just holler - I'm here all day :)

Any help much appreciated, Craig

Thanks for your reply.

Hmm not sure as - I'll have to give it a try when I'm back at home this evening.  Certainly Shodan says ports 53, 80, 123, 443 and 8080 are open, and nmap backs this up.

Regards, Craig

Apologies - bumping this thread after a year or so (time is at a premium here).  GRC Shields UP has this to say (below) - does anyone else with a VF home hub have this issue as well, or just me?
