So I think the VFX hold music is a great idea, definitely better than silence, and I know mav doesn't want any requests but just wondered how things were progressing with the future of this.

My question is motivated in part by the geek in all of us that just thinks it would be cool to be able to pick his own hold music through a web portal and in part by the ridicule I at times recieve from those who've had enough of Fleetwood Mac.* :p

Original discussion is here just in case.

On another note, we've been using Xnet Fusion since about a month after it kicked off until now and it's been excellent - particularly since the international issue has now been largely resolved. :)

*Knowing that whoever put Fleetwood Mac on could be a HUGE fan, this statement should not be construed as a negative reflection on Fleetwood Mac or their fans.

2talk let you do this - you can upload i think up to 3x mp3 files and they will play when you place someone on hold. You can also create an automated attendant (press 1 for.... press 2 for...) and it will redirect the caller to your specified number.
