Hi there, I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what the original price for TelstraClear's Analog Sky Movies + Sports was? My mum still has that under the impression it's cheaper than going to digital, for the equivalent amount of channels etc, but I've just noticed on the bill it appears to be wayyy more expensive which seems logical.

In the meantime she's looking for an old bill and will ring them depending on how busy she is.

I think Digital is only a couple more bucks a month... and theres several channels that are available in the 'basic' lineup which aren't available at all on Analogue.

I just switched our second decoder from Analog to digital (changed to a widescreen TV). It is $5 bucks a month more. There are a bunch of new channels that they do not have on Analog and are not moving over.

And it seems that as they want to get rid of the analog service if you talk to them nicely they will do the upgrade/install for free.

Edit: sorry just to confirm this is for the second decoder. Not sure what the price works out at if it is your only decoder.

Extra $2/month for digital service.
Old additional analogue decoders were either $9.95/mth or $19.95/mth (if it was an analogue attached to a digital). Additional digital decoders are $14.95/mth.
