had a major 6 day outage caused by tcom ancient dslams and wiring in exchange - xnet help desk people were great and they prodded and questioned tcom and kept me informed all the way, couldnt ask for better service.
an upshot of this is that i now have twice the speed i formally had - well done xnet.

Yep the xnet staffers are good like that Thats why I dont complain about the short helpdesk hours (compared to other ISP's) because xnet obviously hire good people and it would cost them even more to try and get good people to work the nightshift.

And yet again Telecom got tagged for having the worst customer service, and big players like Telecom and Clear have slow overall speed.  A small ISP in Wellington or somewhere down there has the best customer service, guess XNet missed out due to recent speed "issues".  But for me they have been great for the 1 year and 8 months we've been with them and the speed is good (not the best, but good).
