Hi

When my computer has been idle for some time i lose my wireless network and have to re boot hte computer to get it back, any idea?

Are you sure you're losing your network or just Internet access?

If it's Internet access (which you can check by pinging your modem and getting a reply) check that your modem is set to be connected at all times, not 'dial on demand.'

i had that problem on a very old laptop which was on all the time and i just put it down to ageing as it seemed to get worse. bought a new laptop now ... not sure if ageing explains it ... how old's your computer?
