WTF? possibly a baseband or RF problem, maybe a software glitch or licensing/exclusivity issue?

Hope someone can shed some light onto it.

I think I know what's going on but at the moment is just a hunch...

I think I may know too. I hope it's a lot more scandalous than a mere phone glitch.

Very mysterious. Is something weird going on, or are they just pulling that model in preparation for announcing the Hero?

My guess it is related to trademark usage without authorisation.

Like having a well known brand body painted during parties?

Did Vodafone ask you to take down your pictures from their launch party Ben?

I've checked the cached version of Ben's blog post - and it shows the old boys pictures, but all the body painted girls are gone - removed from the server but the IMG tags are still there.

I got one last week on launch day. Was searching vodafones site yesterday for some documents on the phone and couldn't find any reference to the magic.. thought it was maybe a glitch. But this explains it. I'm enjoying the phone though - is much more like a tiny computer than a phone. Even installed the SDK and will get cracking on messing around with that shortly.
