Hi folks, first timer here trying to recover from a solid fail on my part.

I've been in NZ ~14 months and been using an HTC TyTn II I brought with without any problems. Unfortunately it started acting up the other day and despite a hard reset refused to return to it's normal speed. I figured this was a good chance to try out some custom ROMs and finally go to Windows Mobile 6.1.

Unfortunately, like a total idiot, I forgot to note my original ROM and Radio version down before doing the first flash.

So now I've tried a ton of different radios on a stock HTC WinMo 6.1 install and at best I can get it to stay connected briefly, even sent and received a text once, and then it disconnects and reconnects when it feels like it.

Any advice would be appreciated, I've been hanging out on the very helpful XDA forums but if there is a TyTn II / Kaiser owner here who could point me to what build/radio they're running I'd really appreciate it.

An update for anyone who looks at this with a similar problem:

Using Band Switch http://www.commmgrpro.com/ I completely disabled UMTS and now the phone connects solidly through GPRS only.
