I'm currently looking at doing so.
How do current users rate Xnet? Especially with internet speeds (i.e. youtube, ftp downloading etc...)?
Cheers,
Kelburn

JUPITER2K: if you are a heavy user perhaps try SNAP ISP. peak time streaming need buffering.
pros = PPM pay as you go.
BTW unless you are on the naked DSL, you will be connected to DSL1 speed even you are on a cabinet and DSL2+ exchange. read the T/C fine print!
coffeebaron: Xnet have recently renegotiated their international links & there is now signs of improved peak time performance.
vinnieg: Apart from the slow speeds though, they have one of the best Service Desks round :) and Maverick on the forums has always been great with helping out with issues

D0ughnut007: Gidday, not sure if this relates to this post or whether to start a new one... but here goes...
Has anyone noticed a drop in their negotiated dsl router speeds today or recently? Hard to say when this has happened to me, my router used to have Downstream Connection Speed of 13,000 kbps and Upstream of 800 kbps and now has a negotiated Downstream Speed of 1961 kbps and Upstream of 326 kbps.
I've made no hardware/transmission changes other than power resetting the DSL modem (a couple of times) with the same result. I reside in the Blockhouse Bay area. I believe my closet exchange is about 150m away. My data usage is well within my cap (So presumably not account related) and I'm on the Fusion (naked dsl) connection.
Just curious to know if this is common to others.
