Recently changed over to vodafone from Telstraclear.

Wasn't getting great speeds with Telstra but still was average over 3000kbps on several speed tests.  Just changed over to Vodaslow and now only getting 900ish kbps and lucky if I break 1000 kbps.

Just read they got voted consumer slowest broadband, wish I had read they earlier before signing up.

Just me or is everyone finding them pretty slow?

What are your router stats?

Where are you located?

There are many, many reasons why speeds can be slow.

I'm getting 5.5mb per second on telecom for over 2 years. And I live in rural area. It's the speedtest.net speed. I wonder why you would want to switch to Vodafone instead of telecom. My torrent speed is 650k when downloading movie. So about 5mb a second. Plus upload. Hehe. Quite fast here

What isolation tests have you done what are your line stats showing in the modem how far are you from the exchange what condition is the house wiring in? Posts like this are pointless I know people getting 18mbps down on vodafone fixed line.

According to Speedtest.net, I'm getting 14.7 Mbs download and .81 Mbs up.

And, no - I'm not finding things slow.

I have found their speeds excellent over the last approx 20months on the Red Network in Auckland - the only time they weren't was when a tech apparently accidentally disconnected us at the exchange (when connecting someone else) and it took a couple of days to get reconnected.  Generally we get 15000-20000kbps from Wellington server on speedtest.net with a ping of around 20-30ms.
