Kiaora all - long time reader, first time poster.

This topic kind of sits between the mobile and Vodafone NZ forums, so I am trying my luck here!

I'm looking at grabbing an HTC Legend and was curious as to whether it would run normally on Vodafone (using a prepay sim). Is anyone else looking at getting one of these soon?

I have only seen one listing on Pricespy, however expansys.co.nz is carrying it for much cheaper (729.99 excl gst i believe). It mentions the phone is a "Version: UK..." - will that present any problems for me as a Vodafone user in NZ?  Also would the phone be set for UK - i.e. maps, locations etc or could i reset it to NZ on launch?

Any advice would be much appreciated

Thanks
Funk

Mate at work has one of these and it works great (not sure about all the features) and it should run fine on prepay once the handset has the correct settings for packet switch data

Make sure it supports 900/2100 UMTS / WCDMA for Vodafone NZ

Its an extremely nice handset too, although might not be a bad idea to bear in mind the HTC Desire, which is selling at a remarkably close price-point to the Legend.
