Evening everyone,

Just a quick question.  Am over here in AUS with a prepay iPhone.  Turned on data roaming ever so briefly this arvo to do a search for the nearest place for a cheeseburger (hey, a fella's gotta eat).

On prepay, do VF send a separate bill in the post for data roaming, or does it come off my prepay balance full stop (and thus, if my prepay balance goes to 0, I cannot roam).

Cheers!

When you are 'auto' roaming (vodafone Australia in this case), it will be deducted from your prepaid balance. Once you reach zero, your services should stop.

If you are credit roaming (you'd need to apply for this) - then it will bill your credit card instead...

Roaming data can take some time to be deducted.

I'm gonna echo this - data on roaming is incredibly expensive.  If you want to do data, pick up a VFAU prepaid SIM and use that.
