Hi all,

This probably isn't a big issue with most users, but I've jut moved from Telecom (phone and broadband) to Vodafone Ultimate - loving the speed increase.   I did query the sales rep at time of signing about the White Pages entry as I must have it in a certain format - I was advised I could view and change this online. The My Vodafone login has a Change Directories Listing section under Phone which doesn't work or show me any info. After speaking to two CSRs and also doing an email query to Vodafone I still cannot get a definitive answer on what will displayed on the White Pages.

The reason for this is we have my wife’s maiden name listed as she runs a business from home. The new account however has been set up with in my name only, and one CSR told me, whatever the name is on the account would most probably appear in the White Pages. After another call, another CSR basically didn't know, but we changed the name of the account to a combined name which should hopefully resolve it. Rather frustrating though, when you are promised a white page listing, and an app to view and change it, which doesn't work. And no-one at Vodafone could tell me what it will be.

Anyone can confirm that their app on My Vodafone is working, or that infact the name of the account, is exactly how the White Pages entry will appear?

Thanks

This has now been sorted thanks to johnr

Just a heads up - whatever your Vodaone Account name is set to, this is what will appear on your White Pages listing. If you had a nice listing like Mr A & Mrs B Smith when with Telecom, signed up with vodafone, using your full drivers license name as your account name, that is what your White Pages listing will be. Mr A & Mrs B Smith could change in the next telephone directory to Andrew Wilbur Smith.

I have a similar problem.  I noticed last year the function to change the directory listing did work. I assumed it got locked off for close out for the latest print edition... but I was wrong.

Got married, so it would be nice to include the Mrs's Initial as part of the entry  i.e.  Surname, A & B

Reading the above, would the CSRs know how to do this?
Anyone know if the web app via logging in will be fixed?

I suspect whitepages.co.nz uses the same details as the dead tree version, so probably a good idea to get the name correct
