Hi there,
I am having trouble with my new hardware set up. I was running a WAG54GP2 but it thought it was time to retire. i replaced that with a Dynalink 1320 modem and a WRT150N (which i had from my telecom connection a few years back) with a PAP2T.

i can connect to xnet and the internet using a ethernet cable from laptop to the dynalink modem. I connect the router (having reset it to factory settings) but the rotuer can't connect to the internet. My laptop can connect to the router both wired and wireless but i can't get out to the internet. i have dropped the firewall on the laptop (running Vista) and have tried changing the rotuers settings (via web interface) from DHCP to PPOE.

I emailed the Xnet help desk but was told to go talk to the linksys help desk, only problem is that i can't call a help desk while i'm working underwater (cellphones didn't like seawater!).

Can anyone suggest how to configure my router please? Also i have noticed that all hardware is on the same IP address, I have tried changing these but after these changes i can't log into either the modem or router?

Any help would be great!

Cheers

Hi,
Well i manged to get my router to connect and now have a fully working wireless set up. I changed the IP adress on the router and ran the Easy-link Linksys software and it worked. Thank you all for the replies and help.
