As above, my new Vodafone 845, which was a gift from my sister, isn't recognising my Vodafone Sim Card. Can anyone help me on this?

And Tony Hughes, no Smart Arse replies thanks :P

If you're on prepay 2degrees is a no brainer unless you make best use of best mates on vodafone imo.

Thanks JohnR, I didn't realise these two forums were so closely linked, that's my forum on the vodafone website as well haha.

Ragnor, yeah you may be right. In any case, I get free credit if I use my 2degrees sim, and the 2 degrees sim works fine in that phone. I just never really thought about it because I was content with vodafone and their deals :)

$20-30 or whatever it is... for a new vodafone sim really does kind of make it not worthwhile.

Similar question, getting a V845 for a family/relative... they have an older (I presume) SIM, specifically looking at it: "SIM2 32k STK v2.3.0"..

Any idea if this is likely to work fine OR is this antique (and I'm likely to need to get them a newer SIM)?

PS: They mainly ring the same few people so Vodafone SuperPay + BestMates is a better option than 2degrees for them imo.
