I have not been able to open Vodafone website - and thus my webmail -  since November 22nd. Spoken to their tech support but still not working.

What OS, browser? Everything else working? Any antivirus installed? Can your PC resolve the webmail website (using PING)?

Hi One question. Are you trying to log on to email through www.vodafone.co.nz or through www.vodafonemail.co.nz ? I find that to access vodafone webmail it is best to use the vodafone nail address rather then going on through the vodafone website?

You need to have cookies enabled and automatic redirection and use the vodafonemail address as suggested

Works best with IE (gahh) but I have it working with latest updates to Opera (although I prefer using Opera's IMAP mail) FF and Chrome

Sitenote, you can use it with IMAP using secure.onebox.com as the server

Thanks for comments so far. More information as requested:

Have been using Vodafone webmail for many years; this is the first time this problem has occurred.
We have 2 computers, one iMac using Explorer and my MacBook which uses Safari . Both use dial-up internet (because broadband is not available in our area, except via [very expensive] satellite)

I have spoken at length with Vodafone tech support people  via my mobile for almost an hour each time. Both asked me to ping various websites; all worked with 0% loss EXCEPT www.vodafone.co.nz which had 100% loss.  Was told by both support people that the fault would be logged and dealt with. We are still waiting anxiously because our business email is on the Vodafone webmail site. (The one I am using at the moment is not Vodafone.)

Haven't tried using the other V website one of you mentioned . Will do, thanks.

www.vodafone.co.nz is not a pingable address I think

Thank you for the vodafonemail suggestion. However I now have a Catch 22 situation. When I tried to log in I was asked for my email address (fair enough) and then my POP etc password. Of course I have not used this for years and so have forgotten it. The response - "Go to the www.vodafone.co.nz site to retrieve it"  (I wish i could!)

Apparently Vodafone had some maintenance work done on their webmail service last night. How's this working for you now?

I can ping ihug okay:

Reply from 203.109.252.75: bytes=32 time=177ms TTL=60
Reply from 203.109.252.75: bytes=32 time=181ms TTL=60

Ping statistics for 203.109.252.75:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 177ms, Maximum = 1274ms, Average = 688ms

but not visit the website in my browser i keep thinking its on my end somewhere but i haven't rooted it out, what i dont get is why it doesn't work on 3 diff PC's running different configs..
