I bought a black motorola v3x off ebay from italy for 600, best phone i have bought so far but not worth the 900+ in shops.
Tried using vodafone live and got the gay text only version and no 3g content.
Thought about it,
can't be a sim card issue because i can make video calls, can't be the make/ model because they sell it in the shops
so it must be information thats read off my phone that doesn't match vodafone settings,like a flex os software version.

I found a document that details all the SOFTWARE versions on every possible vodafone phone and realised there was a mismatch
with my phone vs the standard v3x settings. the pretext says software versions must match else content may not work.

would this be the reason i can't get 3g menus or even pictures on vodafone live?

any idea where i can find software updates for motorola?
