Hello all,
I just bought a new Sonyericsson w900 from hong kong, i would like to connect to 3g. i can video call already but i cant download or stream anything. can anyone please let me know the vodafone settings for this.

Welcome to Geekzone... As with most importers you might never get this to work. Vodafone uses specific DRM settings that will not be present on imported models. You can do voice calls, SMS, MMS but not download musics or access some areas of Vodafone live!...

Do you know why this phone hasn't been released in NZ johnr? Vodafone made a huge deal of this in the UK and it was a Vodafone exclusive model for quite some time.

No idea about the w900i I have one sitting on my desk at work but its SIM locked to Vodafone UK and so just a paper weight

Wish I could unlock the thing

w900 isnt coming through official channels.
voda was taking a long time and other circumstances led to SE deciding not to carry it in NZ.
I know they sell it in Aus, so if you are PI'ing an Aus Voda version could be your best bet

hi, I believe your phone is unbranded, in order to stream and watch vidoes you need the Vodafone Euro/UK firmware on your phone. I can do it.
