Hi guys,

I’ve move house recently and moved my cable connection over to the new place. I play a lot of online games and have found that at the new place my ping has nearly doubled vs what it was at my old place. When I play on servers with my mates (also on cable) they have nearly half my ping. I also get huge ping spikes, lag and rubber banding and have been kicked from servers for excessive ping (while playing with my mates on the same servers who have no problems).

I’ve tried contacting the faults team, but they have said it’s just what you get with a residential connection. I’m a massive fan of TCL cable and have used it for the 10 years I’ve been in Wellington and really don’t want to move away from it, but I’m not being left with much choice at the moment.

Has anyone else had an experience like this and if you have how did you solve it?
