Hi I found this Rural Broadband solution and I was wondering if anyone else has heard of it? www.comtecfone.co.nz It dosent appear to use a normal vodem or t-stick which I have tried and they don't work.

How does this compare to other solutions on the market?

That system shown on their web page is not strictly RBI as it uses your sim .. on whatever data plan .. in a good router. RBI uses supplied sim in supplied router on supplied RBI plan eg Ulimate mobile or Vodafone. But either way though, with a decent Yagi antenae it ought to work well. Not sure what you are asking.. are you asking about is it a good plan .. or is it a good system.?

Yes it is 's goer'.
I've been using cellular for home broadband (and calling) for nearly 4 years.

Depends upon where you live of course....but it is a viable option.
