Hi. I've heard that the SIM card is locked to the phone and as we all know the phones they sell is locked to the Carrier.
Can anyone confirm about the sim card? Is it true

thecatsgoolies: Warehouse mobile is not really great value for low usage
Or high usage, or occasional usage. Not sure what their target is to be honest.
I did pick up some $4 sim cards that came with 500 megs on them to just chuck in the phone when I run out of data, no expiration listed on them for that data unactivated and its a really cheap way of getting another 500 megs which will tide me over a few days if needed.
I think you need to recharge 10$ to get 500MB data plus 2$ credit. No inbuilt data in new simcard.
You misread the banner on box.
Not too impressed with warehouse mobile so far.
Everytime I have stuck another telco;s sim into a phone, it has either worked, or I have got a SMS with the APN information I needed.
This just SMS'd me my number and a link to their website. Reeeeeally useful without data to read the page.
Ported my 2deg no to warehouse sim card. 500MB data n few sms n calls is all I need. Why spend 6-9$ extra for something I don't need, that carryover thing is a trap to keep recharging for more than you need. If any time I need more data I can surely recharge it. Over the year that data gonna expire if not used.
