Hi there, does anybody have any idea how to set up a SPA122 Cisco ATA with I talk? I have manage to bungle around with it and get a dialtone and receive calls but I really have no idea what I am doing.Slingshot Tech Support say they do not know how to configure devices, they will only supply their own ata. Thanks!
but of course replacing settings with the Italk settings with italk, don't follow the stun settings though, as italk from memory don't use a STUN server, if not report back and i'll have to un dust mine and set it up for italk and give you the settings lol
that's absolute crap - you have just struck a csr that doesn't know and is too lazy to find out. I'm no longer an italk customer - but when I joined they emailed me all the settings including screenshots of the spa2102 settings (spa122 would be mostly the same). Unfortunately I don't have them any more. Most of the 2talk settings are the same but there are some important settings that are different.
Best bet would be to keep trying slingshot or even ask in the slingshot forums here as they have people who monitor the gz forums.
edit: btw - I switched form italk to 2talk a few years back because I found italk just a little bit unreliable (especially for international calls.)
Hey guys, thanks for your input, a slingshot guy emailed me with the correct method.
The main issue i was doing was just using the default Ip to access the web interface not checking first to see what the actualy web interface ip was..I am going to change the settings to the 2talk ones...
I have to use I talk as it comes with the slingshot broadband deal, dont really want to be shelling out for another voip plan ontop of what I already pay.
