I would like to tell you guys the following situation:

* Suppose that I setup a voip softphone in my computer and set a ip address like 192.168.0.10

* Suppose that AT 820 ip address is 192.168.0.20

Now in my voip softphone I configure a account like test@192.168.0.20, and password test.

After that I can make a call to any number in my sofphone and AT 820 start ringing forever.

A similar problem also happens on atcom AG198 but for this model I can solve the problem and can block non proxy ip calls disabling the Accept Any Call option. So I can accept calls only from my registrar.

Do you anybody can give me a hand to solve this problem? Atcom really need implement the disable Accept Any Call for AT 820 model too. If they not do it any simple user can access my Atcom and make a disturbing ringing call.

It sounds like it is doing what it should. If you allow URI calling then of course the PC softphone can call the Atcom device directly.

This shouldn't be a problem if the devices are confined to your LAN but if you have opened them up to the internet (with port forwards) then that was really really stupid.

If you have a proxy to manage the calls then I don't see any reason why you would want URI calling.
