Hey there,
I'm a complete newby here- please help me out.  I have VoIP at home with 2Talk.  It's great and i love it.  What's happening now is i'm trying to connect us at work.  Problem is this.  We're behind a router which is located at the other end of the building (in serviced offices.  We have our own internet connection that we're not sharing with the other offices) But we only have one ethernet outlet in each of our offices (we have 3 of them in total).  My issue is that we need to add in an ATA (or router/ATA) but we still need our computers to connect to the net!  Any ideas?  I have thought of using a Linksys PAP2T with an rj45 splitter box/ network switch or going completely the other way and using the Linksys sp2102 router/ ATA.  Problem is we're already behind a router... CAN I DO THIS???  Will we lose internet speed by splitting?  A friend informs me that a network switch may be even worse than using the SPA2102.  Does anyone have the same problem? or even better... a solution????

You've got a few options.

1. Use a switch, which shouldl work fine.

2. Use an IP Phone with two network ports built in. This will allow you to plug your phone into the network connection and your PC into the phone. Most manufacturers have phones like this these days.

3. The SPA2102 can be used as a switch rather than a router I believe, I don't have one here to check at the moment so you may want to confirm that.
