Hi Every One,
After spending couple of days on this issue I figured out i cannot fix it w/o any expert help. Below is the complete description of problem:


OS:    Windows Vista Home SP1 (Updated till October 10, 2008)
Machine: Compaq Presario CQ 50
Additional SW: Bit Defender Internet Security 2008, MS Office Home & Student 2007

Problem: When ever I tried to Dialup Internet it gives this error "Registering your computer on the network" "Error 720"

Workdone:  1. Wireless, LAN connections are OK, I tested it both get on to the Internet w/o any problem.
                  2. Reinstalled Modem Drivers
                  3. Refreshed TCP/IP stack
                  4. Restarted DHCP services
                  5. Microsoft Knowledgebase says TCP/IP protocol not binding on the Dialup connection.
                  6. Updated modem drivers
                  7. Phone cables, jacks changed.
                  8. Blah Blah Blah

I can understand Vista is not good for dialup, but dont have any other choice.

I am lost, Did confirm from my ISP they see Auth OK at their Radius servers log for my account. Every thing is fine at there end.

Any help from Guru's????????
