Bing Sucks!!!!

I gave it a go, and the search results are all defaulting to the UK. UK companies, UK Websites, anything .co.uk.

I've checked the 'Preferences' and my location is set to Auckland, New Zealand. So how can Microsoft think that these results are any use to my 'decision'.

I'm really sick of Microsoft releasing a new product that is clearly not ready for market. How can this possibly have been missed in testing? It took me about 2 and a half seconds to work out that something wasn't right.

Being a typically fickle adopter of things, I've tried but will not be going back to Bing.

What is Google showing for you? When you go to google.com, does it redirect to google.co.nz or google.co.uk?

Most services will default to the browser's locale and language, which depends on the OS locale.

What do you have on your OS?

Bing.com is trillion times better than Live and MSN search. Microsoft has brought huge amount of search improvements to their new engine. Still loads of search issues I found. For e.g I typed Flight AF447 into google and the 1st link that showed up was Wikipedia. Same search on bing.com came up with newspaper articles.

For now I will stick to www.google.com

Do whatever you want to do man.
