The resolution on my Windows 2000 got changed and then my computer froze. When I try to boot it up again it won't load. I get one icon in the top left corner over my desktop background picture called "desktop" but I can't click on it. I can right click and I get the usual menu with "properties" on the bottom but I can't click on any of the choices.

I tried booting in Safe Mode but that didn't help. It wouldn't even load the desktop picture or the "desktop" icon.

Any thoughts on what I can do? If the change of resolution is what screwd it up can I change it back without loading windows?
