Does anyone here buy lotto online and, if so, have they ever won prizes from tickets bought online?

I've bought lotto tickets online for almost two years and have yet to win a prize - but when I was buying in stores I was winning a bottom division prize several times a year. Maybe a statistical anomaly but this run of bad luck has been going so long it seems kinda strange.

Yup, we only buy online, think biggest win so far was around $500.

I buy online and have had one reasonable win and a few free tickets. Buying online or from the lotto shop doesn't change anything. Random tickets are just the same either way. I have the same numbers every week.

Yes, Lotto has secretly developed a sophisticated supercomputer which can predict the next Lotto draw. They use it to give online purchases the least-likely numbers.

We started buying online a few months go. Just bonus strike lines so far. Still have fingers crossed for the big one!

But what really bugs me is the time restriction. Why cant I buy a ticket, or even check my ticket late at night?

statistically certains stores win big, I have never heard of the online store winning big ...

Edit: According to the History page, the first "big win" on MyLotto was... um, January 2013. Not exactly a glowing statistic.

The online random number generator is broken. Two weeks ago I was letting it pick the numbers for a power ball ticket, and 4 lines in a row it picked the same four numbers out of six, and all in the same position in each line, positions 2,3, 4, and 5. None of those numbers were drawn.

I usually pick my own numbers and make sure that the ticket has all 40 numbers selected at least once on the ticket.

Letting the numbers be selected automatically more often than not some numbers dont get picked at all, and other numbers are picked all the time.

Winnings this year, $25.00 (3 + Bonus) and $84.00. (2 strike numbers) I usually get a bonus strike ticket in each draw.

But what about the Big Wednesday 'con', for weeks now the top prize won has mostly been under $1,000 and under 100 people have won that top prize each week.

when i moved to buying my tickets online, my win rate dropped significantly.

The online bit wasnt really relevant though, as i was using the same numbers.

weird.

i stopped throwing my money away about a year ago now :-)
