Does anyone know how many kiwis are subscribed to Netflix or how I could find out?

Cheers!

You will never know, as netflix probably doesn't know.
Although you could estimate. I personally do.

I don't know. As above, I'd be surprised if Netflix knew. They can probably find out how many are using it through Unblock/Proxy/VPN services though, but that wouldn't just be NZers.

I subscribe though.

They estimate 20,000 in Aussie, so a guess would be 4-5,000 in NZ? This is just a guess, obviously.

Other places say 100,000 in Aussie, but I doubt that.

Survey a number of people and extrapolate from that.

Well, the first two respondants in this thread subscribe to Netflix, therefore 100% of NZers do.

26. There is a club and a secret handshake.

First rule of Netflix Club is you don't talk about Netflix Club.

Second rule of Netflix Club is.. you don't. talk. about. Netflix. Club.

Both my brother and I in our respective dwellings use Netflix. I have another friend that I've set up with a PS3 and unblock-us. Add three to your tally.

A few of my family members subscribe to unblock-us but not netflix.  They're more interested in on demand US shows

Just to skew your results: I do not!

Add one more to your tally.

I have converted many others too. So much better than Sky.

There are a total of 5 people in new Zealand subscribing to Netflix. For the Time Warner people monitoring this thread you can go back to monitoring Kim Dot Com. Thanks! ;-)

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.
