Right now?  Hendrix.  http://www.last.fm/ serves basically all my listening needs lately, finetune.com when it's down.  Used to be a live365.com subscriber, but both last.fm and finetune are better and free.

Still my ol faves Metallica, Audioslave, GnR, Linkin Park, Cat Stevens, Meatloaf etc etc.

Just been listening to a live rendition of Billie Jean, done acoustically and slowly, in that classic gravelly Soundgarden voice by Chris Cornell.

Wicked.

Yeah, nice cover version that one.

I've been listening to my usual electic mix, most listened to lately would probably be Rage Against the Machine (with their concert coming up), Kings of Leon (just because I like them, although their concert is also coming up), bit of GnR, Pantera, Korn, Metallica, Hollie Smith, Jet, Janes Addiction, Sevendust, Soundgarden, RHCP, Smashing Pumpkins, Linkin Park, Tool, some good mashups (check out Closer to my roots, which is Beastie Boys Vs The Cure, awesome stuff)...

Lotsa other stuff, thats just what springs to mind, had plenty of time for music on my 4 hour drive to Hastings yesterday.

Today's selection:

Kog Transmissions - transmit prototype (unknown early techno pop, the only other place I have ever heard one of the songs was on some program intro late at night a number of years ago)
Smashing pumpkins - Zeitergeist
Smashing pumpkins - Siamese dream
Antiloop dance (again rather unknown early 90's rave)
U2 classic stuff (rattle and hum)
Nirvana Bleach
Some very early Prodigy and breakbeat stuff found on a "gold disc" sampler cd I ripped last night
and 100 various drumbeats and samples (I do this as part of the sorting process on the move)

Played and sorted on an iPod 60GB running alternative Rockbox software..

Cold War Kids
Custom Kings

Search them, they're not well known, let me know if you like?

Then when I feel like some different music for different moods then...

Audio Slave
Blink-182
Jack Johnson
Kings of Leon
Maroon 5
Muse
Radiohead
RATM
The Killers

And them if I'm just feeling in a rap mood, then...

Kanye West
50 Cent
Obie Trice

At that point then I'm really just a teen.

Potential music..

Aim (Trip-Hop, I'm just going through and finding music that was in the first two Tony Hawks games - Best soundtracks ever)

And John Mayer who I want to add to my collection.

:)
