My sky decided to only start working morning and night? Any suggestions? I have tried resetting and stuff not working. Sky are mucking us around

It's their dish that is failing. You can try changing the local oscillator frequency on the receiver slightly to allow for the drift that is happening when the dish etc gets hot. It will be in the settings as either 11300 or 10750 MHz, try going a few each side of whatever its on and see if you get reception untill they get their act together and send a tech out to swap it over.

This is not a final solution to the problem, this happens when they are about to die totally so dont let up on getting them out to swap it.

If you are desperate to watch something spray it with the hose (the dish not the sky box). Solution is to get sky to replace lnb as has been mentioned already.

Havent touched one of them yet, it will be in the settings where the dish is configured. Just look for those numbers and change them. Or build a little sunshade for the LNB on the end of the dish but dont move it when you are putting something over it to keep it cool.
