We have a Rimu buffet unit in our kitchen which has glass in the doors. One of the glass panels was broken by over enthusiastic vacumming. We got  a quote to repair it locally and took both doors down (So they could compare colour etc).

The door has come back with a big scratch on it (Not the one being repaired). I have raised it with the shop, and they have admitted they didn't see a scratch when they started work, but the scratch was present when i went to collect it. I was doubleparked and there was a large line of people waiting at the shop, so I opted to check the photos we had before mentioning it.

Store is denying any wrong doing, but it's pretty obvious it occurred in their care.

I am regretting not making them aware of it immediately I noticed it, whilst still there, but am 100% confident we didn't do it.

Unfortunately the unit is heart rimu and one of a kind, I am not sure how you would even fix something like that!
