Thought I'd give this a go, as I pay for staff lunches on a Friday and some variety over our usual sounded good.

I just ordered from Boy and Bird 4 Sandwiches at 1:04pm. Order was accepted pretty much instantly, apparently they are preparing our food.

There is about 1km from the store to our office in Grey Lynn.

Used it last night to order Burger Wisconsin.  Although order to delivery took around an hour (it was launch night after all), I was satisfied with the service.  I saw that my food came directly from the restaurant to my house and liked how I could track the delivery person's route.  The kicker was free delivery (I hope you used the AUCKLANDEATS promo code to get free delivery - gives your first three orders free delivery for this month).

Crap I thought the code was AUCKLAND?

Did it take $6 off your delivery or off your total?

Yes $6 off (even thought delivery is $5.99).

We used it for lunch today, got Al's Deli delivered to work. It's our usual Friday lunch, it was nice not having to go pick it up.

Had some interesting discussions in the office about its viability at $6 per delivery though.

So my food arrived about 3 minutes later than estimated. Within the margin of error I suggest.

My order from Best Ugly Bagels arrived to my office in Grey Lynn about 5 minutes earlier than scheduled.

Love the push notifications when the food has been picked up and then when it's nearly at your door!

only $6? Bargain IMO.

Doubt much will deliver to me at home but as I will have to be getting a job soon I might be hitting it up depending where I end up.

Likely depends on the place you're ordering from. Also ours was delivered by a guy on a bike.

Do they bring it up to the office or you have to meet them outside?

They were going to bring it up but I met them outside. Just easier for our security set up.

We have used it 3 times. Twice they have been within 5 minutes, the other time, they were early by 9 minutes!

So far I am impressed. Anyone have any coupon codes. I think the special for free delivery was just 3 uses right?

Didn't the NZ Herald Focus do a piece on them? And the total on the receipt turned out to be $46 in total for a small amount of food delivered?
