John is suspecting you are spamming the board... That's why he posted that.

I'd love to know if this is a legit site too. Prices seem far too good to be true, which makes me suspect it is very dodgy indeed...

Looks like a scam to me.

Payment is only by western union, money gram or tt transfer.

Don't waste your money.

They put 'honestshopping' at the top of the website. LOL!
[EDIT: All their 'Site Safe' and Verisign badges point to their own index page, meaning they're DEFINITELY not certified.]

I must say, I'm having a blast browsing through that website. And while I was at it, I got an email from my girlfriend:

"I found it interesting... Not that we would have money for any of those, just to look."

Dear friend,
We are a large wholesale company on internet. All products are
original famous manufacturers with complete warranty. the
price we can offer you is lower than any other retail dealers on Ebay.

Gotta give them props for their imagination with domain names.

While we're at it, just out of curiosity: are there any legit websites that export goods from China at low (or lower than normal) prices at all? Or is that a myth?

PLENTY of *.cn sites.

BUT, there are language barriers, minimum order requirements (5,000 flash based MP3 players.... anyone...?), returns hassles, etc etc.

If you are not going to put some time, effort and investment it, it is generally a waste of time to consider.

YMMV.

Oh, and being clearly a scam, I would suggest anti-de-negative-minus-less-removalling of the hyperlink, and clearly mark the URL with (<<< SCAM SITE).

From my point of view, just the minimum order requirements actually bother me. I can live with return hassles (in Brazil, most stuff wasn't officially supported by their makers with local offices until fairly recently) and language barriers are not a problem (my next-desk co-worker is fluent in chinese/mandarin).

But I agree: the time and effort investment is where it gets hairy.
