Auckland has recently become my new home and I must say that it is a wonderful place. So far I am not regretting the move one bit.

I currently stay up towards Browns Bay on the North Shore and take public transportation into work each day. Techincally, you could say that I live on a bus. Since it seems that is where i spend a large portion of my day. Waking at 5am and getting home at 7pm i find myself constantly almost drifting off to sleep only to be disturbed by my head hitting the window as the driver slams on breaks or when the person next to me clears the mucus from their nasal passage.

But I digress...

The real question is, what portable device would you recommend I get. I need something to pass the time and to give me a "technology fix" while I am inbetween my work and home PCs.
At the moment I am considering a PSP as it will satisfy the gamer in me and also enable me to watch some movies on UMD or listen to some loud angry music.

The gaming side would really be a "nice to have", but anything that has at least music and video capabilities would be good enough. Obviously storage would come into play here too, so the more the better.
