I'm fed up with Go Large and therefore are changing ISPs, Xnet looks very appealing i just want to check a few things out before the switch.

How are the speeds? I'm planing on using the "River" FS/128k plan and want to know what speeds i will get, before Go Large (Xtra Explorer) i would reach down speeds of 50-300KB/s with http and 25-200KB/s with Torrents, will i be able to reach these speeds again with WxC?

Is there any traffic managing? do they limit p2p/torrent speeds and if so what kind of speeds will i get?

Are there any serious problems with WxC? Common downtime, high pings ect..

Any other information i should know before signing up to Xnet? $50 for 15.5gb at decent speeds seems almost too good to be true... I know Go Large was!

XNET is prob. the best ISP out their at the moment. They also have a option to turn off interleaving.

Users who have changed from Go Large to Xnet have seen speeds increase from 1000kbps to 5000kbps

No, Xnet do not shape any kind of traffic what so ever. p2p runs at full speed and so does torrents.

Pings are very low because you can request them to turn off interleaving which will decrease your ping from 50ms to 10ms.

I am happy with XNET, had very few problems compared to other providers i have been with.Good customer support.

We have been with XNET for about 18 months on the 2Mbps/128kbps/10GB plan. There is no traffic management so far as we have ever noticed unless we exceed our 10GB cap when it slows to 64kbps. We could change to one of the new plans if we wanted to avoid this, but $42.95 per month for 10GB is a good deal and we don't often go over the cap.

Bit Torrent speeds are around 100kB/sec (800kbps) according to my son.
YouTube videos download at around 700kbps.
NZDSL Speed Test reported 1830kbps Down/123kbps Up just now.

Customer service has been excellent on the few occasions we have needed to call them.

Oh, and one other bonus feature I just discovered recently: If you are away from home, you can use XNET dialup for free. XTRA used to charge me $2.50 per hour for this privilege
