Ok I have just got into gaming and really enjoying it, the problem is I am moving to Auckland and have no idea what kind of internet I should be getting. The other problem is checking the flat wiring to make sure it is not going to screw me over, the problem is I have no idea what I am doing in this department.

So,

Does anyone know someone in Auckland that is reliable and does not cost an arm and a leg that can check they wiring in my flat and to the internet box thing? Not asking for someone to do this for free as I am happy to pay just need some advice on someone who knows what they are doing and won't rip me off.

The second thing is what service provider I should be going for, latency seems to be the big issue that everyone talks about so what internet company should I be calling?

Where am I?

Mt Albert Rd (close to the corner of Pah Rd and Mt Albert Rd)
Royal Oak
Auckland

Please be advised I really don't understand all this internet stuff that well, I can setup the router and that is about it. Any constructive advice would be much appreciated :)

p.s. I get a 500 error when opening some of the topics in this forum is that normal?

Oh you'll get that here too, especially from Johnr if you pick on Vodafone Tongue Out

Seriously though you've obviously done your home work and people here do try and help people who help themselves....

This shouldn't happen, but as we were just switching versions it could be you got caught in the middle.

And yes, talk to CoffeeBaron.
