ok since my last post i have upgraded from the 'go large' package to the pro advance 30gig package, as go large was offering me crap torrent speeds and unable to use webcam chats.

so today i got switched, and i am seeing NO improvments.

my speed tests have remained similar at just over 1.5mb down and between 76-130k up.

my torrent speeds refuse to go over 30kb/s  after all the tweeking  i can do!  and im just pig sick!! i was under the impression i would see dramatic difference on the Pro Advance package yet i am seeing none! anyone offer any help? and what speeds do others get on this package?  thanks

Rick

Has your IP changed? if not, power cycle your router because as long as you have an IP in that range, it will be slow even if your linespeed is higher.

It may be that you are too far from the exchange to obtain decent speeds or any other number of factors.

I am on a pro plan with Orcon and get speed of 6Mbps+ down and around 400kbps up.
