Hi,

I've recently brought a place in the vicinity of the Matakana area and I'm keen to understand what quality of internet service I might receive.

Chorus appears to be putting in the following cabinets in Nov 2013 under the RBI programme:

MTK, MTK/A,MTK/B,MTK/C,MTK/G,MTK/L,MTK/M,MTK/N,

Ideally I'd like to understand where these Cabinets are going to be physically placed so I can understand whether VDSL is likely to be an option for me.

Can anyone help with this query?

Regards,
Simon

If you go to the Chorus Maps and turn on the RBI layer it has some of the detail in there:

http://www.chorus.co.nz/maps

Or I know that there is the Telco2 RBI cabinets done a while ago: http://www.telco2.co.nz/rbicabinets.html

Or if you are with Telecom I can lookup the internal version of the Chorus maps which gives a lot more detail.

The Chorus RBI list on their website contains X and Y locations and shape files for all the cabinets.

It would be good if you could do an internal search for me. Unfortunately I'm on an ipad and I can't do anything with the shape files.

My street address is about 5 Omaha Valley road, big omaha.

Thanks,
Simon
