Is this router compatible with UFB?

It does has Ethernet WAN and does support PPPoE but I have heard that you need to have VLAN tagging for a UFB router.
Is this right?

Can I plug this straight into the ONT where my fibre comes in?
And since it has 2 WAN ports does that mean I can also add a second UFB connection and balance my connection?

I don't think any of the RV series support VLAN tagging on the WAN side.

You need to have a router that supports VLAN tagging, another means of VLAN tagging (such as a switch or something cheaper like a Mikrotik) or your ISP may support an untagged UNI port.

Not all RSP's require VLAN tagging though. Ask when you apply.

An untagged UNI port can be requested by an ISP, and this is something that some ISPs can offer.

If you opt for this however you'll have no access to the CIR and all traffic will be your EIR since you can't have 802.1p tags without a VLAN.

I can confirm what sbiddle said.

We recently requested an untagged UNI port for a customer who had an older Cisco Router/VPN that he wanted to use.

I stand corrected on this comment. Looks like the RV315W will VLAN tag on the WAN ports, and is also dual WAN
