Had enough of the peak time congestion issues with Telecom and their wholesalers.

Currently with Xnet Fusion FS up and down plan and getting 2 x dialup speed downloads during peak times. Sorry Xnet great pay as you go pricing plan concept but still have the peak time congestion bottleneck. 3 months of the international speed issue and no sign of resolution.

Looking for a residential provider not using the Telecom copper network. Live in the Hawkes Bay.

Yes, I have seen http://www.airnet.net.nz/ but this appears to be business focussed and the absence of any pricing information links sends my inner cynic into all sorts "over-priced for home user" ravings.

All suggestions would be mucho welcomed

You are not going to have much luck there, as most of NZ ISP's are using Telecom copper network.

The only thing I can suggest is maybe have a look at other Naked DSL providers(That is if you want to stick with Naked DSL), although you don’t much choice as there is only 6 Naked DSL providers at the moment.),

I don't think that the Telecom Copper Network is to blame, unless there is a fault with the lines to your house.

What you need is a different provider. Nothing else. If you feel Xnet isn't meeting your needs, then you can choose to move.

Airnet is great.

I have 4mbps up 2mbps down (though I think they offer 4/4 as well). ALWAYS get good speeds. Paying $149+gst for 10GB. I suspect we might be on an old plan, and they may have $99 plans available.

We rent Airnet transmission equipment.

Airnets 4mbps at work kicks butt all over my Xtra Pro Plan at home (and I am close to the exchange).
