To find these rates you need to go to speedtouch.lan or 192.168.1.254 (unless you have changed the IP of the router). Click on 'Broadband Connection' > DSL Connection > Details.

Hope that helps.

Cheers, I have gone to the 192.168.1.254 which has my router details however once I get there I can not find the stream Db's details. I have looked all over the place on this page and can not find. It has the bandwidth, DSL type etc but no Db's. Do you have any idea where it is found on this page?

Yes I think this is what I am after. So the attenuation Db above is specific to my router. Correct? How did you do this? Can you cut and paste the link to this info. I would really appreciate it if you could. Cheers dude.

Actually I'm just thinking the line attenuation is 3,0/5,0 Db. Can this be correct? I mean I do have a cabinet just down the road. However must people report that they have higher Db's than this?

Hi, lower attenuation indicates less loss, ie better. Rougly 13.8dB/km of cable, so 3dB indicates around 300m of cable so you should be able to full ADSL2+ performance on a 12dB S/N profile as used by Telecom, ie around 18Mb/s maximum.
