hey guys,
was wondering if anyone would be able to help me on a little matter. I currently have a useless Nvidia 7300LE graphics card and lately when I start my flight simulator its fine through the startup screen, then once in the application it goes black and white. When I quit out of the applications the desktop screen displays mixed horizontal lines, and the computer locks up. I have tried un-installing and re-installing the drivers for the card but to no avail, does anyone think this is a card problem or is it application based. If I don't run flight sim, it runs everything else fine, video clips and things. Any help would be appreciated!

What about your PC? Does it fit the requirements for this game? What about memory and free memory?

hi there,
The computer well fits the minimum requirements, its a pentium D 3.4 dual core, 2 Gb Ram. It never had been a problem before, so I was suspecting a corrupt graphics card driver, so I downloaded the lastest driver from the Nvidia website, and installed but this hasn't solved the problem, also have un-installed ans re-installed the game. So thinking it may be something else.

sounds like the card is not compatible with the game? (does exist - i once had a gf2 mx440 and pro evolution soccer just would Not work - googled and the card was not compatible). has it (flight sim) ever worked before on this card?

the other option is the card or driver stuffed and i dont know how you repair either of those - seems like you've done all you can already. but this is only the case if your display plays up at times other than flight sim. (i think)

anything else would be beyond me here

yeah its an odd one, it has been absolutely fine in flight sim up until a week ago. I originally suspected a corrupt driver, but now I just don't know. I think I might just take the hassle out of it, since my graphics card is far from high end, in fact its probably more like the other end of the spectrum, by just buying a good card that can render complex graphics a little better. Nevermind, thanks anyways guys.

oh before i forget - dont forget corrupt game files. do a disk check with repair (cmd "chkdsk c: /f" and choose restart option). then try reinstalling the game. might just do the trick.
