I got a Black Box voucher for purchasing HD 2900XT, and since the Team Fortress 2 is out I wanna download it through Steam but I got a problem with connection when updating my Steam.

OS: Win  XP
Firewall: Win XP and it is off.
Anti-Virus: Bit Defender V10
ADSL Router: D-Link DSL-504 GenII
ISP: NZ Telecom/Xtra
Port Forwarding? Yes, but cannot confirm the port map.

So is there anyone that can help me? I tried ringing the ISP whether they block this port or not and they said no. :( I really want this Team Fortress 2 game.

Sorry if I havn't posted back a long time ago. It seems like Xtra is the one who is throttling my internet speed. I can do it fine in Off peak, but not peak.
Xtra is nasty, why? "My internet is kinda slow is there anyway to improve the speed?" Xtra: "Change to a better plan." Looks like I won't be playing Team Fortress 2 for now. :( So much for Black Box.

lol, I can use BitTorrent to download TVs Shows fine but not dam Steam. :( No Fortress 2. Anyway I heard that other ISP are doing the same thing reducing speed on Steam as well. i.e. SlingShot.
