Hi

I want to put another 2gb in my computer. It is a dell dimension 9150 and uses DDR2 PC4200 533MHz non ecc ram. (compatible with PC5300 667Mhz)

I have heard that not all generic memory modules work in a Dell and have no idea how to find out if the cheap ones ive found will work.

if anyone knows where to look can they let me know. memoryx.com wasnt much help.

the module im looking at is here.

Hi, I would suggesting get a branding one, no need for a OC brand or model if you are not up to OC but any memory model have a brand name shouldn't have any reliable issue.

You need 2 of these:
kingston 1GB DDR2-667
This machine runs Dual Channel, so you need a matching pair. If the existing is not a matching pair, toss them out and get 4x the above.
